Reactivation of Marcopolo Mercedes Benz Bus Model 2001

Abstract

This project focused on the inspection, servicing, and repair of the mechanical ‎components of the department's rundown MarcoPolo Mercedes Benz bus model 2001, there by improving the vehicle’s functionality, safety and performance. Key tasks included servicing the engine, braking system, and the pressure plates in the clutches. The faults in the vehicle were diagnosed, necessary repairs and replacements were carried out and testing showed that the vehicle performed satisfactorily and can now be deemed roadworthy.
