Abstract
The study investigated the effect of Guided Enquiry Method on Academic Achievement among Biology Students in senior secondary schools in Dala Local Government Area, Kano State. The design of the study was quasi experimental, the pretest, posttest design. The population of the study comprised of 10,114 SS II Biology students out of which, a sample of 80 Biology students from four single sex schools were used for the study, the sample was categorized into two groups; the experimental group consisting of (40) students and control group consisting of (40) students. A pretest was administered before the treatment to establish group similarity in their ability. The sample in the experimental group, were exposed to Four Mode of Application Techniques. Two (2) research questions and two null hypotheses guided the conduct of this study. The instruments used for data collection were Biology Achievement Test (BAT).
