Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was conducted on August, 2023 to September, 2023 to carryout the incidence of mites causing mange infestation in small ruminant (sheep and goat) in Maiduguri cattle market. The objectives of the study are to determine the incidence of mange infestation in small ruminant in Maiduguri cattle market, to determine the species of mites causing mange in small ruminant. The study consist of 500 examined animal (Sheep and Goat) out of which 18 animals were positive. The data were analyzedusing SPSS version-20.
