Abstract
This study examines how corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities affects the financial performance of consumers goods firms in Nigeria. Using data from ten listed companies (2008–2022) and regression analysis, findings show that community development and environmental costs positively affect profitability, while employee training costs have a short-term negative effect. The study recommends integrating CSR into business strategies for sustainable growth.
