Out of the 50 patient tested, 31(62%) were Sero-positive. The prevalence is higher in females with 22(69%) than in males with 9(50%) The present study shows a relative high sero-prevalence of H. pylori among student in the faculty of life science and faculty of physical science in the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, thus the need for screening and public awareness on the health implication of this important bacteria.
