Abstract
This research explores the transformation of agro-industrial by-products—rice husk, corn cob, sugarcane bagasse, and starch—into nutrient-rich media for actinomycetes cultivation. Pretreated wastes supported effective microbial growth comparable to synthetic media. Proximate and mineral analyses revealed high levels of carbohydrates, fibers, and essential minerals, confirming their suitability for biotechnological applications. The approach reduces waste disposal challenges, lowers production costs, and supports sustainable resource utilization in microbial biotechnology
