Abstract
Technology continues to change the way people interact, communicate, and access essential services. This project, titled “Design and Implementation of an Online Voting System,” focuses on developing a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform that allows voters to participate in elections from any location. The goal is to reduce the challenges of traditional voting methods such as long queues, high costs, human errors, and election malpractice by introducing a convenient digital alternative. The system enables eligible voters to log in securely and cast their votes online, with strong measures in place to protect data privacy and ensure that each vote is counted accurately. It uses encryption, unique voter authentication, and automated vote tallying to guarantee transparency and fairness throughout the process. Built with modern web technologies, the platform is designed to be easy to use, scalable, and accessible on different devices. In summary, this project demonstrates how technology can improve the voting process by making it faster, safer, and more transparent, while strengthening trust in democratic systems.
