Abstract
System models play a vital role in enhancing students' interest and engagement in biology by transforming abstract concepts into interactive, relatable, and visually stimulating learning experiences. Traditional teaching approaches often fail to spark curiosity, leading to reduced student motivation and poor academic performance. This study examined the Utilization of various system models on interest and perception of Biology Student in selected senior secondary schools in Nasarawa Local Government, Kano. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design, with data collected through questionnaires from 238 respondents across three Secondary Schools. The findings highlighted the extent to which various system models are available and utilized in teaching biology, as well as their impact on student interest and perception. The findings reveals that the application of system models significantly enhances students’ interest and fosters a more positive perception of Biology, leading to improved comprehension and understanding . The study recommends the integration of diverse system models participation into the Biology curriculum to boost student engagement and learning outcomes.
