Abstract

Effective communication is crucial in academic institutions to ensure students and faculty receives important updates in a timely manner. The traditional physical notice board system used in the Computer Department at Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta has limited accessibility, delayed updates, and unorganized information, leading to communication inefficiencies.This study focuses on designing and implementing an Online Notice Board System that enhances real-time communication, accessibility, and efficiency in information dissemination within the department.The system was developed using Django (Python) for the backend, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, SQLite for the database, and Firebase/Twilio for notifications. Key features of the system includes; User Authentication, Notice Management, Notification System, Search and Filter Functionality, Mobile and Web Accessibility.
