The Impact of Digital Transformation on Hr Practices. a Study of Stanbic Ibtc Bank.

Abstract
ABSTRACT The pandemic seems to be a stressful condition for Human Resources (HR), HR employees and HR technology, exposing previously unidentified shortcomings and utilizing innovative new digital solutions. It also increased the demand for virtual/remote working with technologies that are accessible at any time and from any place. Work must be carried out in a consistent manner in spite of the fact that virtually all workers are being pressured to transition to an alternative and more remote mode of employment. The aim of this research is to study the Impact of digital transformation on human resources management practices in Stanbic IBTC bank. The specific objectives were to: (i) examine the effect of digital culture on recruitment in Stanbic IBTC bank. (ii) determine the effect of digital leadership on talent management and development in Stanbic IBTC bank. (iii) ascertain the impact of digital literacy on performance management and evaluation in Stanbic IBTC bank. This study adopted the simple random sampling technique to select participants, and the sample size was determined using Taro Yamane's formula. The researcher used correlation for H1 and conducted regression analysis for H2–H3, thereafter, regression analysis and correlation were used to test the hypotheses. "The dependent variable (recruitment) was explained by the independent variables (Cloud computing usage, AI and automation integration, and Internet and mobile penetration), while the remaining 44.3% may have been influenced by other unexplained factors. Additionally, the adjusted R² was 0.557, indicating a high degree of correlation between the variables. This suggested that Cloud computing usage, AI and automation integration, and Internet and mobile penetration were strongly related to the dependent variable, with these independent variables accounting for most of the variation observed in the dependent variable. This suggested that these technological factors were significantly related to recruitment, accounting for the majority of the observed variation, while the remaining 44.3% was attributed to other unexplained factors. The study on The Impact of Digital Transformation on HR Practices: A Study of Stanbic IBTC Bank concluded that digital transformation had a significant effect on various aspects of human resource practices within the organization.
