Abstract
ABSTRACT The Library Management System is a software application designed to automate and streamline library operations, including book cataloging, user registration, book issue and return processes, and inventory management. Traditional library systems are often time-consuming, prone to human error, and inefficient in handling large volumes of data. This project aims to provide a digital solution that improves accuracy, enhances accessibility, and reduces administrative workload through a user-friendly interface and secure database management. The system allows librarians to efficiently manage books, track issued and returned items, monitor defaulters, and generate reports in real-time. Students and staff can easily search for books, check availability, and reserve materials online. The project integrates role-based access control to enhance data security and ensure authorized usage. By automating core library functions, the system improves operational efficiency, reduces paperwork, and promotes digital record-keeping.
