Abstract
The negative effect of mental stress on human health has been known for decades and stress level must be detected at early stages to prevent these negative effects. With the emergence of wearable stress monitoring devices, a patient who is remotely situated can be treated remotely by communicating their status to their psychologist/physician in real-time. To establish a portable and user-friendly system, this research provides a novel way to brainwave monitoring by merging Electroencephalography (EEG) sensors with contemporary communication modules. The purpose of the suggested system is to monitor different mental states like relaxation, and attention by capturing, and analysing EEG signals in real-time. Wireless data transfer to a mobile application is facilitated by a Bluetooth module. The application visualizes the EEG data and notifies users of noteworthy brainwave patterns and analysis and trend graphing. According to preliminary findings, the system may be able to shed light on cognitive states. This might have a variety of uses, from improving neurofeedback systems to monitoring mental health. The system's concept, implementation, testing, possible effects, and upcoming improvements are all covered in this document.
