Abstract
The purpose OF this research work is to find out the various way through which product planning and development can increase organization performance and increase its (organization) competitive advantage in the business environment, this research therefore focus on the examination of the effect of impacts of product planning and development in the modern business environment and the identification of various problems and factor militating against effective product planning and development are also proffers useful solution that will be helpful to a manufacturing firm like Dangote Flour Mills Plc, Ilorin.
