Abstract
The increasing demand for renewable energy solutions has led to the need for effective educational tools that enhance learning and practical understanding of solar and wind energy systems. This project focuses on the design, fabrication, and evaluation of a Solar Energy and Wind Turbine Training Kit for educational purposes. The training kit integrates both solar and wind energy components, including a photovoltaic (PV) panel, a wind turbine model, a charge controller, battery storage, and monitoring tools. It is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences by demonstrating key principles of energy generation, conversion, and storage. To ensure affordability and accessibility, the kit is fabricated using locally sourced materials and components. The system is tested under real-world conditions to evaluate its efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness as a learning tool. The study also examines its potential applications in technical education, vocational training, and renewable energy awareness programs. The findings indicate that the training kit is a cost-effective and practical solution for enhancing renewable energy education. It bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, equipping students and trainees with essential skills for the growing renewable energy sector.
