Abstract
Selfcompactingconcretehasemergedasamodernsystemofconcreteproductioninnearly compressivestrengthcontrolsampleof7,14,21and28daysdemonstratedasatisfying Physical properties such as particle size, color and texture of Okro powder were tested.The asaddictive,curingandcrushingat7,14,21and28daysrespectively.Freshpropertysuch Okroasadmixturedemonstratedgoodflowability,possibilityandcompressivestrength.The value.However,Okropowdermixedupof1.5%admixtureissuitableforproductionofSelf strengthascomparedtothecontrol.Thecompressivestrengthtestofself-compacting reducingadmixturetoproduceaflowingconcrete,thuseliminatingtheneedforexternal 1.0%,1.5%ofOkropowderasadmixtureand18cubesfor0.5%,1.0%and1.5%usingOkro wasgrindedfor30mins,1hr,1:30mins,eachofthisspecimenundergoweightsievinganalysis. asflowabilitywastestedwiththeaidofsuperplasticizerwhilehardenedpropertiessuchas methodadoptedforthisstudyincludedcastingof18cubesascontrol,18cubesfor0.5%, vibrator.Thisprojectpresentsthestudyonfreshandhardenedpropertyofself-compacting all the developed nations of the world. The system involved the use of high range of water concrete,madeof5%and10%Okropowderasadmixturedemonstratedhigherstrength compressivestrengthwastestedat7,14,21and28days.Thestudyrevealedthattheuseof concreteusingOkropowderasadmixtureindifferentpercentages.Okrowasobtainedand CompactingConcrete.
