The development of a Personnel Management System for the security unit of Federal pol ytechnic Bida Niger state aims to streamline and enhance the management of security p ersonnel, improving overall operational efficiency and effectiveness. The primary purpos e of this study is to design and implement a digital solution that addresses challenges s uch as personnel scheduling, performance tracking, attendance monitoring, and commu nication within the security unit. Current manual processes are often time-consuming, pr one to error, and lack transparency, leading to inefficiencies in managing the security sta ff. This research investigates the need for a comprehensive Personnel Management Syst em that can automate key functions and provide a user-friendly interface for both admin istrative staff and security personnel. The system was developed using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS, XAMPP, Word press plug in and visual studio and includes features such as real-time shift scheduling, an attendance tracking module, and performance eva luation dashboards. The system also integrates a communication platform for direct rep orting between security officers and management.
