Abstract
This project focuses on the design and implementation of an automated irrigation and monitoring system built on the LabVIEW platform, developed specifically for cluster farming. Its main aim is to tackle the common problems of poor resource management and inadequate monitoring in conventional farming by introducing a solution that is both scalable and affordable. The system makes use of three flow meters to monitor water distribution and a DHT11 sensor to capture temperature and humidity, both of which are essential for maintaining crop health. Using the graphical programming features of LabVIEW, a simple yet effective control panel was created to allow farm managers to easily track water usage and environmental conditions without the need for continuous physical supervision. In the background, the program processes sensor readings and automatically controls electronically operated valves, ensuring that each farm plot receives just the right amount of water, thereby reducing waste and avoiding irregular irrigation. The results of this work show that such a system can significantly improve the efficiency of resource use, encourage sustainable farming, and provide a reliable model for boosting crop production in cooperative farming setups.
