Effects of Industrial Relations on Organisation Effectivesness (case Study of Ekiti State Ministry of Health)

This research investigates organization impact of industrial relation on organizaion effectiveness using Ekiti State Ministry of Health, Ado-Ekiti as a case study. The objectives of sector, to examine the effect of industrial relations on employee' morale and to examine the effect of industrial relations on industrial peace. Primary source of data was used to obtain data through the use of questionnaire. The statistical tools employed for analyzing the data collected for this research include, percentage and frequency distribution table, also chi square was used to test the research hypotheses. The result shows that that industrial relation has significant effect on employees' productivity in public sector, industrial relation has significant effect on employees' morale in public sectors and industrial relation has significant effect on industrial peace in public sectors. The research therefore recommends that organization and employees should understand that they both play an important role in the organization. They should see each other as indispensable ally in the actualization of the organizational goals, efforts should be made to meet up with the yearnings of the employees by introducing a motivational package that will sui and satisfy their needs. Workers should be given the opportunity to participate in decision making, to give them a sense of belonging and inclusiveness. Management should pay workers as at when due since this is one of the major causes of industrial action in organizations has been. Lastly, management and employee should create an enabling atmosphere for peace to reign in order to achieve organizational objective(s) and to enhance uninterrupted production.
