Production of Body Cream from Aloe Vera Gel and Analysis of Its Antimicrobial Properties

Abstract
Creams are pharmaceutical products that are widely used to treat a variety of skin conditions. Creams were traditionally made by combining two or more ingredients with water as the solvent. Newer methods for cream formulation are being used as technology advances. The public and society can safely use these semi-solid preparations. They have a wide range of functions. Due to the above reason, this work was design to analyze of the anti-microbial properties of aloe vera cream/gel. The methodologies employed in this work are the sensory evaluation and anti-microbial supportability properties of the cream. The result obtained reveal that aloe vera cream possess anti-microbial properties. The application of aloe vera cream can help fight against many bacteria that causes skin infection.
