Abstract
This study investigated the impact of labour turnover on organizational performance using Seaton Water Company as a case study. Motivated by observable lowering conditions in productivity and service delivery, the research aimed to identify causes. Drawing from significant prior research, and first identifying the study problem as quantitative research design, utilizing literature and composite prior insights with a case study interpretive perspective. The results revealed that while poor working conditions led to significantly disruptive organizational performance, both poor pay and low job satisfaction had a more pervasive negative impact on work performance. This suggests that employees are insufficiently motivated to display active commitment to organizational goals and objectives. The research further identified the need for establishing specific human resource management practices to improve organizational sustainability. Key recommendations to be implemented to increase organizational performance through Seaton Water Company were: organizational strategy, retention strategies, and building a work environment that is conducive for improved service delivery. By addressing the issues of labour turnover in the organization, the organization can foster sustainable performance and employee satisfaction.
