Abstract
The study investigated "the impact of social media campaign against aids/hiv among teenagers". The specific objectives were to: Investigate the level of exposure and awareness to AIDS, Ascertain the effects social media campaign about AIDS, determine the effectiveness of social media campaign about AIDS among the students, examine how social media is harnessed in sensitizing the teenagers about AIDS and to examine the impact as social media made to prompt the teenagers about AIDS. The study adopted a descriptive survey method. A total of one hundred (100) undergraduates were selected to constitute a sample for the study. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics of mean. Findings of this study showed the impact of social media campaign against AIDS among teenagers. Another finding of the study revealed the effectiveness of social media campaign about AIDS among the students. It also revealed and examine how social media is harnessed in sensitizing the teenagers about AIDS. It was recommended that HIV/AIDS advert messages and campaigns should continue to be disseminated through the social media and all other means available more frequently at the moment in order to be noticed.
