Abstract
This study examined the effect of an immune booster on penile oxidative markers in lead-exposed Wistar rats. Lead exposure caused a significant increase in malondialdehyde (MDA) and a decrease in antioxidant enzymes—superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione (GSH)—indicating oxidative stress. Administration of the immune booster restored antioxidant levels and reduced lipid peroxidation. The findings suggest that the immune booster protects against lead-induced oxidative damage by enhancing antioxidant defense mechanisms. Keywords: immune booster, lead and penile.
