The Impact of Materials Management on Organizational Productivity

Abstract
This research work examines the impact of materials management on organizational productivity. Materials management is an essential aspect of production and operational efficiency, as it involves planning, organizing, controlling, and coordinating all activities related to the flow of materials within an organization. The study focuses on how effective materials management contributes to improved productivity, cost reduction, and the achievement of organizational goals. The objectives of the study include determining the relationship between efficient materials management and organizational productivity, identifying the challenges associated with poor materials handling, and evaluating strategies that can enhance materials control and utilization. The study adopts a descriptive research design, and data were a through questionnaires administered to employees across various departments involved in procurement, inventory, and production.
