The Impact of Macro Environment Factors on Sales Performance of Femtech in Ilorin Metropolis

Abstract
ABSTRACT Studying organizational environment is of ample use for every organization and those who are managing the organization. The main objective of the study is to examine the impact of macro environment factors on sales performance of Femtech in Ilorin Metropolis. The specific objectives include; investigate the relationship between economic factors and customer behaviour of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis, determine the effect of socio-cultural factors on product knowledge of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis; determine the effect of technological factors on product quality of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis; and examine the effect of political factors on prcing of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 65 respondents who serve as the sample size for this research. From the results of findings, it is statistically concluded that economic factors have significant influence on customer behaviour of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis. The study also concluded that socio-cultural factors have significant influence on product knowledge of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis. The study concluded that technological factors have significant influence on product quality of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis and lastly it is concluded that political factors do have significant impact on pricing of Femtech in Ilorin metropolis. The study recommended that Femtech should pay close attention to major economic changes such as inflation to be able to determine customer spending pattern. It also recommended that Femtech should consider socio-cultural factors such as religion, language, cultural values and beliefs of their market. It is recommended that for Femtech to be able to improve the quality of their products significantly paying attention to technological changes is compulsory. Lastly, it is recommended that Femtech should be flexible in their pricing as political factors have major impact on customer buying behaviour.
