Smartspend: an Expense Tracking System

Abstract

SmartSpend is a mobile expense tracking application designed to help users record and analyze daily financial activities. Developed with Flutter and Firebase, it allows real-time expense entry, budgeting, and data visualization on both Android and iOS devices. The project applies the Incremental SDLC model, emphasizing usability, security, and cross-platform efficiency. Through structured testing and user feedback, the system demonstrated improved accessibility, clear visual reporting, and simplified financial planning for users.
