Abstract
ABSTRACT The process of renting a house can often feel like a maze—complicated and frustrating. It usually depends on manual methods that can cause delays, misunderstandings, and make it tough to manage rental properties effectively. Traditional approaches often lack automation, which makes it hard for agents to keep tabs on property listings, tenant applications, rent collection, and maintenance requests. To tackle these challenges, this project suggests creating a House Rental Management System (HRMS) that allows real estate agents to efficiently list and manage properties, while giving tenants the ability to easily search, apply, and pay rent online. The primary goal of this study is to design and implement a web-based system that simplifies property management tasks through automated listings, tenant verification, rent payment processing, and maintenance tracking. This system will serve as a centralized hub where agents can update property information, monitor rental payments, and handle tenant requests in real time. This project takes a structured approach to development, which includes analyzing requirements, designing the system, implementing it using PHP, JavaScript, and database management, and finally testing and deploying it. The system will feature a user-friendly interface, secure authentication, and automated notifications to boost usability and efficiency. The end result is a system that significantly lightens the administrative load, cuts down on paperwork, and enhances transparency between agents and tenants. The findings indicate that using an automated rental management system can lead to better oversight of properties, timely rent collection, and happier tenants. Looking ahead, future recommendations include adding AI-driven suggestions for property searches and incorporating blockchain-based smart contracts to further improve security and efficiency.
