Abstract
Abstract This study explores the potential of ethanol extract from Albizia Lebbeck as a sustainable and effective corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in acidic environments. Corrosion poses a significant economic challenge in various industries. This research investigates the plant extract as a green alternative to traditional, often toxic, chemical inhibitors. Through experimental analyses, including weight loss measurements and electrochemical techniques, the study demonstrates the inhibitory properties of the extract. The findings confirm that Albizia Lebbeck extract can form a protective layer on mild steel, significantly reducing corrosion rates and offering valuable insights for eco-friendly industrial practices.
