Abstract
This project investigates the production of methane gas through the anaerobic digestion of chicken droppings. The study aims to explore an alternative and sustainable source of energy that can help reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Chicken droppings were mixed with water in specific ratios and allowed to ferment in an airtight digester under mesophilic conditions. After 21 days of digestion, measurable quantities of methane were produced. The results revealed that chicken droppings have a high biogas potential due to their rich organic content, making them a suitable substrate for renewable energy generation.
