Abstract
Breast cancer, a malignancy originating in breast tissue, poses a significant challenge in Nigeria due to escalating incidence and mortality rate. The healthcare system grapples with burden, exacerbated by shortfall in preventative strategies adoption. The scarcity and high cost of anti-cancer drugs hinder effective treatment, placing strain on both patients and healthcare system. A retrospective study at AbubakarTafawaBalewa Teaching University Hospital (ATBUTH) Bauchi, involving 380 breast cancer patients, aimed to assess the therapeutic protocols employed in their management.
