Abstract
ABSTRACT A study was conducted on the Prevalence of Gastrointestinal tract parasites in goats at Senator Ali Modu Sheriff Veterinary Hospital Maiduguri from 2018 to 2022. The results indicated the highest prevalence in 2018, with a total record of four hundred and fourteen (414) cases and the total number affected were two hundred and twenty six (226), which is fifty-four Percent (54%) affected. And the lowest recorded in the year 2020, with a total record of four hundred and forty-five (445) cases and the total number affected were one hundred and seventy-five (175), which is thirty-nine percent (39%) affected. in Conclusion, the prevalence rate in the study area is higher which poses a threat to the development of the livestock industry and is of important economic implication in the study area and Nigeria as large
