Abstract
The design and construction of a 12V/2KVA pure sine wave inverter aim to provide a reliable and efficient power backup solution, particularly in regions with unstable electricity supply. This study focuses on developing an inverter that efficiently converts 12V DC from a battery into 220V AC with minimal harmonic distortion, ensuring compatibility with sensitive electronic devices. Key design considerations include the selection of high-efficiency MOSFETs for switching, a robust transformer for voltage conversion, and a smart battery management system (BMS) to optimize performance and extend battery life. The successful implementation of this inverter offers a cost- effective and durable alternative for residential and small-scale commercial applications, improving energy access and reliability.
