Abstract
This study explores the optimization of Crop rotation for sustainable Agriculture
in Nigeria using Simplex Method. A mathematical model was developed to
allocate land and resource effectively across five rotated crops on a one plot
farm with a specified capital investment. The optimal solution suggests that
dedicating a sizeable portion of land of cabbage (X3) results in a maximum
agricultural produce. These findings highlight the potential for better resource
utilization to enhance productivity and sustainability.
