Assessment of Proficiency in the Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (bim) Among Built Environment Undergraduate Students in Federal Polytechnic Ede.

The focus of the study was to assess the proficiency in the knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) among built environment undergraduate students in federal polytechnic Ede, Osun state. The objectives of the study were: to identify the various learning outcomes of BIM among students in built environment, to assess the factors influencing learning outcomes of BIM among built environment students and to examine techniques enhancing the proficient in learning outcomes of BIM among built environment students. The study employed descriptive survey research design. The research target a population of 150 students from major departments that offers BIM courses in Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State. Self-administered questionnaire was used in this study to collect data. Data collected was analyzed by use of descriptive statistical method. Based on the findings of the study, on proficiency in the knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) among built environment undergraduate students, The study recommend that BIM education should be integrated as a core part of the curriculum, starting with foundational courses and progressing to advanced applications also use of diverse teaching methods tailored to students' learning preferences, such as interactive tutorials, project-based learning, and collaborative group work should be provided
