Abstract
This study examines the thematic analysis of Tomorrow I Become a Woman by Aiwaonose Odafen. The writer lends her voice to the struggle of women in contemporary Nigerian society who are silenced either by their culture or their religion and whose future has been determined right from when they were born. It aims to analyse the different portrayals of women as illustrated in the novel, highlighting the writer's point of view on gender and the role of women in contemporary Igbo society. Through an intensive reading of the novel, this study will examine how Odafen's work contributed to conversations about feminism, identity, social change, and the role of women in society.
