Abstract
This study examines the impact of reward systems on the job performance of office professionals in selected organizations within Kaduna Metropolis. The research focuses on how monetary and non-monetary rewards influence employee motivation, productivity, and job satisfaction. A descriptive research design was adopted, and data was collected using structured questionnaires administered to office staff across different organizations. The results revealed that organizations that effectively implement reward systems experience higher employee performance and reduced turnover rates. Findings also indicate that non-financial rewards, such as recognition and career development opportunities, are equally significant as financial incentives. The study recommends that organizations adopt a balanced reward strategy that aligns employee performance with organizational objectives.
