Marketing Information System: a Tool for Increasing Performance of Nicon Insurance Plc, Lagos

The developments in the information and communication technologies have brought a lot of novelty and accelerated the present processes of work. Marketing Information system affected the organizations 'performance. The economic and social effects of this changes caused big exchanges in the structure of organization. The core objective of this study is to investigate the impact of marketing information system on organisation performance. The organizations that want to survive, invested in Marketing Information system and so they rendered their work styles compatible with information technologies. This study aimed to identify the impact of Marketing Information system on origination performance of NICON insurance Ple Ogun State. Relevant literatures were reviewed, questionnaire was developed to examine the hypotheses based on the topic. The data was collected from (80) respondent who filled and returned the questionnaire correctly out of one hundred (100) Sampled form the sample size for the study The results of the study indicated a statistically significant correlation between information lechnology and marketing operation. Also, information technology aid quality of service delivery therefore this study recommended that management of NICON insurance Ple, investing on procurement of Marketing Information system technology in other to progress in its quality-of-service delivery and maintain customer satisfaction also they should provide easy to use application package for seamless interaction between customer and it employee's Keywords: Marketing Information system Information Technology, Information Systems, organization performance.
