Abstract
Abstract.. This study appraised the effect of premarital sex on the academic performance of secondary school students in the Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. Utilizing a descriptive survey design, the research involved a sample of 210 student respondents. The findings revealed that factors such as peer pressure, economic reasons, and parental influence were identified as significant causes of premarital sexual activity.
