Abstract
ABSTRACT This study investigates the use of assistive technology in the retrieval of information by students with visual impairment in Bayero University, Kano Library. The purpose of the study is to examine the availability and accessibility of assistive technology, as well as the challenges faced by students with visual impairment in using these technologies. The findings of this study provide insights into the experiences of students with visual impairment in using assistive technology for information retrieval, highlighting the need for improved accessibility and support services in academic libraries.
