the survey research design Questionnaire in addition to library research were
applied in order to collect data, Primary and secondary data sources were used
and data was analyzed which was presented in frequency tables and
percentages The respondents under the study were 137 respondents of Auchi
Polytechnic, Auchi Edo State The study revealed that the researcher discovered
that the conflict management strategies adopted include avoidance.
accommodation, competition, compromise and collaborations, the study
revealed that Organizational conflicts lowers workers" morale, discourage
commitment to work, de-motivates workers and breeds distrust and suspicious,
the study revealed that effective conflict management enhance organizational
performance by creating conducive and harmonious work environment.
