Abstract
From ancient times, stamping was done manually. An AUTOMATIC STAMPING MACHINE was designed and constructed; it consists of a paper pick-up roller mechanism conveying each Al paper across its tray (driven by a 12V, 360 rpm gear motor), a solenoid motor, and Arduino Nano as the developer boards. The system is equipped with a special self-ink serving stamp, which eliminates the complexities of designing a mechanism for ink pad stamping and reduces the risk of excess ink dripping or staining the paper. It works based on two relay module timers controlled by an Arduino programme. When the system is turned on, the first relay module activates a solenoid motor which pushes the stamping mechanism downward toward the paper for one second and returns. Then the second relay module triggers a 360 rpm DC gear motor, which is coupled to an 8 mm shaft equipped with four sets of rubber rollers to roll each paper off the tray within 5 seconds and stops, for the first relay (switching the solenoid motor) to trigger again. This timing cycle will continue until all the loaded papers are stamped and ejected, then the machine will automatically stop. The auto-stop feature is based on ultrasonic distance sensor control using a separate Arduino Nano, which detects obstacles at a certain distance. Therefore, if no more paper is detected as an obstacle, the system will automatically stop working. The user is required to manually load the papers onto the machine.
