Abstract

Title: Prevalence of Menstrual Disorders among Female Undergraduates in University of Uyo
Background: Menstrual disorders are a common health issue among females of reproductive age, affecting their quality of life and academic performance.
Objective: To determine the prevalence of menstrual disorders among female undergraduates in University of Uyo.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 209 female undergraduates selected using stratified random sampling. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data on demographic information, menstrual history, and symptoms of menstrual disorders.

Conclusion: Menstrual disorders are highly prevalent among female undergraduates in University of Uyo, affecting their academic performance and quality of life. There is a need for increased awareness, education, and healthcare services to address this issue.
