The results of the hypothesis indicates that there is no significant relationship between the quality of tourism facilities and the level of participation in tourism activities in Calabar metropolis. It was also observed that poor funding, insecurity, and other challenges such as low income, mismanagement of tourism outfits, economic instability, etc also contribute to the problems of tourism development in the area. The public and private sectors were observed to have great significance in the development of tourism in the area.
