Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study critically investigated the awareness and use of library websites on educational development of final year library and information science students in Delta State University Abraka. The descriptive research design was adopted for this study. One hundred and thirty (130) respondents was used as both the population as well as the sample size due to the small size of the population . The questionnaire was administered as a research instrument for data collection. The mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data generated. From the findings of this study, it was revealed that the awareness and use of library websites by final year library and information science students is to a high extent. Also, the awareness and use of library websites on educational development of final year library and information science students is to a high extent. Therefore, libraries should ensure that students are made aware of library websites and should be educated on how to use these library websites. Also, students should use their awareness of library websites to influence their educational development.
