Effect of Organizational Change on Employees Performance in First Bank Yakubu Gowon Way Branch, Kaduna.

Abstract
Organizational change is a continuous strategic process through which organizations adapt to internal and external pressures to improve performance and remain competitive. This study examines the effect of organizational change on employees’ performance in First Bank, Yakubu Gowon Way Branch, Kaduna. The objectives of the research include assessing employees’ perception of organizational change, determining how change influences job satisfaction and productivity, and evaluating the strategies used by management in implementing change. A descriptive research design was adopted, and data were collected using structured questionnaires administered to employees of the selected branch. The findings reveal that organizational change significantly affects employee motivation, performance, and commitment, particularly when communication and involvement are adequately provided. The study concludes that effective change management enhances employee performance and recommends continuous staff engagement, adequate training, and transparent communication to reduce resistance to change.
