Production Planning and Organization Productivity in Nigeria Bewery (a Study of Intafact Beverage Limited Hero, Anambra State)

This work is focused on the production planning and organization productivity in Nigeria
with particular reference to intafact beverage limited (Hero), Anambra State, Nigeria. The
study sought to know the effect of production planning. In manufacturing, demand
forecasting, as well as material requirement planning (MRP) in enhancing customer’s
satisfaction. The research design adopted was a survey method. Data were collected from
both primary and secondary sources. The study has a population of 71 and a sample size of
60 to determined through Yaro Yamane formula for the study. Out of 60 copies of
questionnaire distributed to the respondents. Therefore, the analyze for this study were based
on 49 respondents, based on the analyses of the data collected, the findings, of the study
showed that the production planning has effect on manufacturing that demand forecasting
has a strong impact on increasing the sales volume of beverage firms, and that material
requirement planning (MRP) significantly enhance customer’s satisfaction of beverage firms
operating in intafact beverage limited, Anambra state. the study concluded that business
decisions on customer’s demand should not base on mere guess, preferably on a care
analysis and that customer’s satisfaction cannot be achieved without proper production
planning via material requirement planning (MRP) for an organization to be committed to
meeting customer’s satisfaction, such as organization much be ready to implement material
requirement planning this will enable them in knowing what their customer’s want, how they
want it, and when they want it. In recommendation that the effect of production planning can
be achieved through adequate production planning in manufacturing of product. So that
figures reported will be form direct product variables rather that just human judgment
