Abstract
This study investigated the role of branding as a critical factor in organizational success, focusing on P.Z Nigeria Plc. The research aimed to examine how branding contributes to product differentiation and market positioning. Data were collected from 85 respondents across different management levels: 59.9% from lower management, 34.2% from middle management, and 12.2% from top management. Findings revealed that 100% of respondents agreed that effective branding differentiates the company’s products from competitors and enhances market positioning. The study concluded that branding plays a vital role in sustaining competitive advantage and must be integrated with other elements of the marketing mix. However, the research faced limitations, including restricted access to organizational information, financial constraints, and time limitations, which affected the depth of data collection. Based on the findings, it is recommended that P.Z Nigeria Plc invest in making its branding strategy more unique, innovative, and appealing while equipping its branding team with advanced training. Emphasis on research and development is encouraged to strengthen brand positioning and ensure long-term profitability in an increasingly competitive market.
