Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study investigates the assessment of employee grievances on the performance of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) in Kebbi State, Nigeria. The research methodology, as detailed in Chapter Three, employs a descriptive survey design, leveraging a self-administered online questionnaire to collect data from a sample of 100 respondents, selected using a simple random sampling technique. The target population consists of employees working in various SMEs across Kebbi State, with a focus on individuals familiar with grievance issues and their effects on workplace performance. The data collection covers demographic details, types and frequency of grievances, and their perceived impact on organizational performance. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive statistics with SPSS 2020, utilizing frequency distributions, proportions, and chi-square tests to examine relationships between employee grievances and SME performance. Chapter Four presents the results, revealing that employee grievances significantly affect job performance and organizational success.
