This study delves into the perceptions surrounding the effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in addressing socio-economic needs in the Niger Delta region. Both primary and secondary methods of data collection were employed to gather comprehensive insights. The findings highlight the challenges faced by current CSR efforts, predominantly linked to issues of funding and execution. Community perspectives reveal a diverse range of opinions, but also emphasize the potential for well-executed CSR initiatives to positively impact socio-economic conditions, local development, and conflict management. The study establishes key relationships, such as the influence of initiative nature on community perceptions and the contribution of CSR efforts to tension reduction and conflict management. The multifaceted perspectives of the community underscore the necessity for refining CSR strategies to comprehensively address socio-economic needs, promote local development, and contribute to conflict resolution in the Niger Delta region. The study further recommend among others that CSR initiatives in the Niger Delta region should Prioritize transparent and accountable allocation of funds, ensuring that projects are effectively planned and executed to maximize their impact on socioeconomic needs
