Abstract
The rapid advancement of digital photography and cloud-based storage has revolutionized the way photographers share images with clients. However, existing platforms are often fragmented, lacking essential features such as secure access control, efficient image management, and seamless collaboration. This project presents the development of a centralized Photography Sharing Platform, designed to provide photographers with a secure, user-friendly, and efficient solution for sharing high-quality images.
The platform was developed using the Incremental Software Development Model, ensuring iterative improvements and user feedback integration at each phase. It incorporates Django for backend development, PostgreSQL for database management, and HTML/CSS for frontend design, ensuring a robust and scalable system. Key features include secure user authentication, image upload and storage, token-based access control, album management, and a streamlined client interface for easy navigation and interaction.
Comprehensive testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing, were conducted to validate the platform’s performance, security, and usability. A usability evaluation was also carried out with selected participants, providing valuable feedback that informed refinements to enhance the overall user experience.
The results demonstrate that the Photography Sharing Platform successfully addresses the inefficiencies and security concerns prevalent in existing systems. By offering a structured, secure, and intuitive solution, this platform enhances the workflow for photographers and provides clients with a seamless experience in accessing and managing shared images. The study concludes that such a solution has the potential to significantly improve the professional photography-sharing ecosystem, offering scalability for future enhancements.
