Raw Material Inspection and It's Impact on Quality Production (a Case Study of Ostrich Bakery Ahmadu-Bello Way Kaduna)

Abstract
The study examines raw material inspection and its impact on quality production in Ostrich Bakery Kaduna. The company's staff strength as at the time of this study is 100. The sample size of this study is 44 staff of the company. The research instrument for data collection is questionnaire. The researcher employed the use of the mean statistic for the data analysis and decision rule was used to take decision. Hypotheses were tested using chi-square (x2). The findings from the study revealed that revealed that adequate material inspection contributes to the success of the organization in terms of quality of production, and it was established that quality of products can be sustained by adequate material inspection. The study therefore recommends that management of Ostrich Bakery should establish sampling plans to systematically inspect materials from suppliers. Sampling plans help in ensuring that a representative portion of materials is inspected while reducing inspection time and costs.
